We have an activity coordinator (Peggy Gregoire Johnson) and trust me she is loaded with ideas. She has a team set up to help with activities during the day time so we won't take naps and to help us enjoy the sun and have fun with friends.....don't start wiping off the sweat, she has bingo and poker included in some of the play time.
Other activities lined up are Horseshoes, Karaoke, Dance Lessons, Bocce ball, Darts, Croquet, Volleyball and even more. That’s not all she has come up with fun for the evening (Not that any of you ever had a problem finding fun to do during the evening time)
Starting off things on Thursday night will be Honky Tonk Night with Country music filling the air with tunes from Hank William, Ernest Tubbs, Patsy Kline and others we all know. So dust off those cowboy hats, press the snap down plaid shirts and get ready to do some fancy foot stomping…….hee haw!!
Then on Friday night - it's Sock Hop Time the old 45's will be dangling and the swing will be back in the old dance step. Roll the cuffs in those jeans and grab the poodle skirts, 'cause pony tails will be flyin' this night.
On Saturday Night it's going to be Disco Night including the rotating shinin' ball all the way down to the last silk shirt, so get your digs out, fluff up the wigs and start listening to 70's tunes so you can get your groove back.....Travolta is alive again.
There will be prizes for Best Costumes...excuse me ......WEARIN' APPAREL - Best Dance Couple - Best Single, and a few others can't disclose at this time. Just wanted to get the word out and start those creative juices flowing along with the imaginations wandering. I'd say grab your partner and start to limbo, but that’s a different time and different theme.
